Outdoor utility pole guy warning equipment

Alternative product names: Outdoor Pole Guy Wire Warning Device, Electric Pole Guy Wire Glow Warning Device, Power Line Diagonal Guy Wire Light Strip

1. Introduction

In the power transmission network, utility poles are indispensable support structures, and their stability is directly related to the safety of power transmission. To help transmission lines better resist wind impacts and interference from various external forces, staff often install diagonal fixed wires on utility poles. However, these diagonal fixed wires are difficult for passing pedestrians and vehicles to notice in low-light environments such as at night, on cloudy days, or in heavy fog, which greatly increases the possibility of accidents like collisions and trips. Once an accident occurs, it will not only put pedestrians and vehicles at risk, but may also cause damage to power facilities, thereby affecting the stable operation of the entire power system. Traditional warning methods are not effective enough in such environments and cannot effectively avoid risks. Therefore, there is an urgent need for a device that can play a prominent warning role in low-visibility environments to protect power facilities and public safety.

2. Product Overview

The laser light source can effectively remind pedestrians and vehicles, thus ensuring the safe operation of power facilities. The Outdoor Pole Guy Wire Warning Device (TLKS-PLSA-VII) is a safety warning product developed by Telikom for the problem that the diagonal fixed wires of utility poles in transmission lines are not easy to be found at night or in dim light. This device uses a red laser light source, which can significantly remind pedestrians and vehicles to pay attention at night or in low-light conditions, thereby effectively reducing the risk of collisions or trips caused by not noticing the diagonal guy wires and ensuring the safe operation of power facilities.

3. Working Principle

The Outdoor Pole Guy Wire Warning Device (TLKS-PLSA-VII) uses a red laser light source with a wavelength of 660nm, combining "laser + optical fiber light guide strip". It realizes control through light induction, staying in a dormant state during the day and switching to a flashing mode at night. This design not only ensures a good warning effect at night, but also allows flexible customization of the warning length of the diagonal guy wires according to actual needs, greatly reducing the overall energy consumption of the device and providing strong support for the safe operation of power facilities.
